As December rolls in, the Christmas vibes get stronger and stronger with each passing day. With kids at home for holidays, it could get a bit difficult to keep them occupied and parents usually keep things planned out in case. Though there are a lot of things parents do with kids on a day to day basis, like going to the park, watching a movie and playing board games, we can definitely suggest a way that could be a perfect way to keep them occupied for an hour or so - looking at the picture books as you read them the story. It is also a good way to help them learn new words (& improve their reading skills if they are old enough).

This traditional folktale focuses on Santa from birth to death and it is really gripping. It is written by by Angela Elwell Hunt and the beautiful illustrations it feature are by Tim Jonke.

Bunny Slopes by Claudia Rueda
