P.S. I still love you summary

PS I still love you Summary

Sequel to “To all the boys that I've loved before”, ‘P.S. I still love you’ takes us deeper into Lara Jean’s life.

After the Coveys' Christmas party, Lara is sure about her feelings for Peter. Prompted by her feelings she writes a love letter for Peter, for real this time, and intends to give it to him personally.

She visits Peter’s house, hands him the letter, and hopes that it will give them a clean start.

Peter and Lara Jean kiss, but are interrupted by his brother. But on the whole, it all bodes well and they decide to make it official and go on with the relationship.

Lara faces a few problems in school when she finds out that someone has put up a video of her and Peter making out in the hot tub online. But this time Peter comes to her rescue.

Peter comes across the video at school and when the rumor that he and Lara were having sex in the hot tub, Peter gets really angry. He warns the anonymous poster to keep clear of Lara Jean.

Margot leaves for Scotland for her college and advises Lara to get a job.

Lara adheres to her sister’s advice and volunteers to help at Belleview retirement home through a scrapbooking class.

During her time at Belleview retirement home, she gets close to Stormy, an elderly lady with a bad temper. Over a span of a few days, she becomes Lara’s relationship advisor.

During this time Kitty is busy trying to set up her father and a lady named Trina Rothschild who lived down the street.

Lara receives a letter from John Ambrose McClaren to inform her that he had received a love letter written by her. Over the following days, they exchange some more letters and become pen pals.

In the meantime, Lara finds that the treehouse she and her friends use to hang out in is scheduled to be cut down in a few days' time. She decides to throw a reunion party and invites John. To make the reunion special she decides to open the time capsule that they buried there while they were in the seventh grade.

At the reunion, Peter brings his ex-girlfriend Genevieve despite the fact that Lara doesn’t want her there. And when she comes to know that they were hanging before the party, she becomes suspicious and a bit jealous too.

In order to distract her from the new disturbing developments, she focuses on John.

As decided, they open the time capsule, and every person takes turns to pull out an item from the capsule. In the end, they all decide to play Assassins - the game they all used to play a lot during their childhood, and whosoever wins the game will be granted one wish. Lara resolves to try and win the game as she has never ever won such a game in the past.

After the party, Lara and Peter argue about Genevieve, but Peter reassures her that they are just friends. However, Lara’s insecurity surfaces again when during the Assassins game she finds out that Peter and Genevieve have entered a sort of association.

Next, Lara learns that Stormy is John’s grandma when he comes to the retirement home to visit her. She eliminates him from the Assassins game and sets Peter as her next target. John decides to help her out.

Lara is upset to find that it was Genevieve who had posted that hot tub video online, and breaks up with Peter when she finds out that he knew all about it and was hanging out with Genevieve.

In the heat of the moment Lara tells Peter that if she won the game, she would wish that nothing had happened between them in the first place.

Lara spends most of her time with John and ultimately wins the Assassins game.

Lara finds out the reason for Peter’s spending time with Genevieve: she confided in him about her father’s affair with a younger woman.

Lara and Peter meet in the treehouse night before it is to be cut down and wishes for things to go normal, the way they were before all the things went down.

Peter takes her on her word and confesses his love for her.
